How to Give Different Types of Medicines to Children
Medicines for Children is a partnership programme of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group (NPPG) and WellChild.
They have developed an online resource providing advice to parents and Health Professionals on administering different types of medicines to children, this includes Patient Information Leaflets which can be downloaded and printed
Community pharmacies holding palliative medication
NHS Cheshire and Merseyside has introduced a new service on 1 April 2026 to improve access to essential palliative care medicines for residents in Cheshire and Merseyside.
As part of the new service, a number of participating pharmacies across Cheshire and Merseyside will stock a standardised list of palliative medicines to reduce unwarranted variation in the region.

This form is only to be used to refer Liverpool GP registered patients for a medication review.
