An exciting new art project funded by Mersey Cares in collaboration with MCFT has had its second instalment this week as part of Culture 26 celebrations.

This year, Mersey Care turns 25; a huge milestone and a moment to do something a little bit special. As the Trust’s dedicated charity, we’re marking this big birthday in the best way we know how: by coming together to raise funds, create impact and make a real difference across our communities.

We’re delighted to share that we’ve added a fantastic range of new and exciting challenges to our fundraising events portfolio – giving staff even more ways to have fun together, look after their wellbeing and do something amazing to support others across Cheshire and Merseyside – as well as support their colleagues!

The Infection Prevention and Control team had a fantastic presence across multiple sites, including Rowan View, Indigo, Clock View, Knowsley Resource Centre, Kirkby walk in centre and Curzon road health centre. It was a really positive day, with excellent engagement from teams at every location.

Helen Bickerton, medical workforce specialist has been highly commended nationally at the annual awards of Medical Education Leaders UK. At their recent celebration, Helen was lauded in the category ‘support staff excellence’.
