Support for carers

Do you look after someone with dementia? Need some support? Together in Dementia Everyday (tide) and Alzheimer’s Society are working together to provide peer support groups in Liverpool and Sefton that are specially for younger people with dementia and their carers.

World Pharmacist Day - Think Health, Think Pharmacist
17 September 2025
World Pharmacist Day is happening on 25th September 2025. The theme for this year is Think Health, Think Pharmacist - join the Medicines Management Team to learn about medicine safety and hear about pharmacist stories, career paths, typical day in the life of a pharmacist. The Team will also be hosting activities including a myth busting quiz, build your own blister pack, importance of error detection. There will be pharmacists and meds management staff on hand available to answer any questions.

Beware of Pretexting scams

NHS organisations and staff are increasingly being targeted by pretexting scams. Pretexting is a type of social engineering attack where someone pretends to be a trusted person to trick you into sharing information or carrying out an action. These scams aren’t limited to the online world - they can also happen over the phone or in person. For example, a caller might pose as a family member or even a police officer, telling a convincing story to gain your trust and persuade you to hand over sensitive details, such as a telephone number.
