Invitation to contribute to an anonymous culture review

Workforce Challenge Partners are independent reviewers who have been appointed to undertake a culture review of our organisation. They’re working with the Trust Board of Directors to make sure that the review aligns and complements ongoing work to meet CQC well led standards.

Sefton Perinatal Service moving
26 August 2025
The Mersey Care Liverpool and Sefton Perinatal Mental Health Team now has an additional base in Sefton. The Sefton staff are moving in on 26 August to The Investment Centre, 375 Stanley Road, Bootle while others will remain at Liverpool Women’s Hospital. Mersey Care Supportive eObservations are going live
26 August 2025
Inpatient staff feedback has led to the development of a new Supportive eObservation app integrated with Rio, allowing staff to record and view inpatient supportive observations on a mobile device at the patient’s side, providing alerts when observations are due and overdue. All staff who are required to complete Supportive Observations must ensure they can logon onto a Trust computer before the go live dates stated.

Advance notice of changes to minor works approval processes
26 August 2025
In support of our financial plan and making efficiencies, from 1 September 2025, the process for approving minor works is changing and will require divisional approval. Minor works are defined as anything other than general building maintenance. i.e.; Painting and decorating are minor works but replacing lights and fixing radiators are not.
