In 2025, NHSE commissioned a review into our Board Culture. The Health Service Journal and local media have published articles about the Trust with information related to this review which contain criticism and feedback about the board culture and its effects on colleagues' experiences at work.
We know this may be disappointing or difficult to read. We also recognise that not everyone has the same experience of working here, and we are grateful to everyone who took their time to share honest feedback through surveys and other routes.
While the articles highlight areas where we need to improve, it is important to recognise the progress we have made and the significant work that continues across the Trust to create a more compassionate, supportive, just and learning culture where everyone feels valued, heard and able to thrive.
We remain committed to listening, learning and taking meaningful action, and we will keep colleagues updated and you as we work together to make further improvements.
