Mersey Care has pledged its support for This is Liverpool, a city-wide campaign launched by Liverpool City Council to celebrate the city’s diversity, promote inclusion, and encourage people across Liverpool to stand together against racism.

Two years ago this month, our low secure learning disability unit opened to patients on the Maghull Health Park. And so to mark the occasion, Aspen Wood leads threw a party.

As part of Autism Month, we are encouraging colleagues to build their professional curiosity and deepen their understanding of neuro inclusion by exploring how our eight senses shape the way we experience the world.
