    You may have seen the media coverage regarding meningitis cases and the very sad deaths of students in the South East. We understand that such headlines can naturally cause concern. Please be reassured that incidents of this nature remain extremely rare, and the Trust continues to work closely with public health partners to monitor the situation.

    Liverpool to mark 37th anniversary of Hillsborough

    A minute’s silence will be held outside Liverpool Town Hall to mark the 37th anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy at 3.06pm – the exact time at which the fateful match was stopped – in memory of the 97 people who lost their lives.     The Southport Inquiry and support

    On 13 April at midday, the Phase One Report of the Southport Inquiry will be published. We anticipate significant media coverage and know many of our staff, families and friends will have been impacted by the knife attack and murder of the three girls in July 2024. We want to remind you that there are ways we can support you, which include speaking to your line manager, visiting our staff wellbeing hub for access to information, resources and specialist services or if you need urgent mental health support please see our urgent help pages.
