    You may have seen the media coverage regarding meningitis cases and the very sad deaths of students in the South East. We understand that such headlines can naturally cause concern. Please be reassured that incidents of this nature remain extremely rare, and the Trust continues to work closely with public health partners to monitor the situation.

    Chaplain's Easter message

    This week our chaplaincy team want to wish a happy retirement to Chaplain Rosemary Taker, who leaves Mersey Care at the end of this month. Michael Crilly, Director of Social Health and Community Inclusion, thanked Rose at a special gathering of the whole team this week at Hollins Park. One of Rose’s colleagues, Rev Sara Doyle, shares a message for the Easter season.

The month-long event will take place across the 31 days of May during National Walking Month and across Mental Health Awareness Week. It’s a fun way to improve your fitness, enhance your wellbeing, and connect with your Mersey Care colleagues - all while raising funds to support staff wellbeing across the Trust.
