RAF Cadets meet with Children in Care team in Liverpool to deliver Easter treats

Members of the 7F (1st City of Liverpool) Squadron Royal Air Force Cadets met with Children in Care nurses at Norris Green to deliver chocolate eggs, treats and gifts collected in support of Mersey Cares’ Easter Egg Appeal.

On a blustery Sunday in March, Mersey Care consultant Clinical Psychologist, Katie Pownell and Commissioning Case Manager working in the PROSPECT LPC Team, Robert Kelly, took part in one of Liverpool’s most famous road races - the Liverpool Half Marathon.

Temporary change to X-ray services at Kirkby UTC
9 April 2026
The removal of the current X-ray equipment will begin following the closure of the service on Friday 17 April.
