    Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Competency

    From 15 April 2026, the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training Tier 1 training competency will be have been added to the training requirements for some colleagues, as part of a structured rollout across the Trust.

    Important RightFax Update

    13 April 2026

    RightFax is currently used in some services within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and replaced the need for physical fax machines several years ago. As alternative communication methods are now widely used, it is proposed that the use of RightFax will end on 30 April 2026. If your team or service still use RightFax, please contact your IM colleague below to discuss next steps.

    RAF Cadets meet with Children in Care team in Liverpool to deliver Easter treats

    Members of the 7F (1st City of Liverpool) Squadron Royal Air Force Cadets met with Children in Care nurses at Norris Green to deliver chocolate eggs, treats and gifts collected in support of Mersey Cares’ Easter Egg Appeal.
