On Wednesday, 4 March 2026 at 9.30 am, the following buildings at Maghull Health Park will have their Net2 Doors migrated to a new server as part of a wider review of security and standardisation of access levels across all sites:
- Indigo Building (Only Library Door and Side Door)
- Ashworth Horticultural (Estates and MJ Quinn Offices)
- Central Services Building (Vaccination centre and IM Archives)
- Skipyard
- Kennet Stores (Bin Storage and Linen Areas)
An external engineer will be on site to carry out the door upgrade, supported by both the Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust Estates Team and the IM Technical Support Team. Support will be on site, checking with all colleagues working from MHP Areas listed below on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 that the upgrade has been successful and all have access.
What you need to do:
Joanne Fowlis, Head of Safety and Security has authorised for an export of all staff who have accessed the MHP buildings listed above for the last 90 day. Exported Staff information will be reviewed by Site Managers / Team Leaders and migrated as part of the upgrade, so staff who have accessed MHP Buildings above using an MCT ID Card within the last 90 days will not need to do anything.
Please note:
- Access to all MCT Net2 Buildings will only be allowed via a valid MCT ID Card.
- Smartcards will no longer provide access to buildings
- If you are not based out of the MHP Buildings listed above and only attend infrequently or for meetings, then please do not request access.
- Visitor passes that are being used for General Building access will be disabled and require approval from and MCT Site Managers If you are using visitor passes to gain access you will need to request your own ID Badge here: ID badge and access requests :: YourSpace Mersey Care
