Ways to get involved:

The NHS Staff Survey is your voice in action. It gives us in-depth insight into what it’s really like to work in the NHS andhelps shape positive change. At Mersey Care, we use this feedback to make work better for you, your colleagues, andultimately deliver the best care for our patients and service users. The survey is completely confidential and anonymous,so you can share your views openly. Your engagement truly drives real change - that’s why your feedback matters.

People Pulse is a quick, quarterly survey designed to make your voice drive real positive change. Unlike theannual NHS Staff Survey, it provides regular insights into your experience, so we can act quickly and keep improving. It’seasy, anonymous, and takes just five minutes, helping us create a culture where everyone thrives.

Your Voice, Your Change is our way of listening beyond surveys. Through Divisional Conversations and focuseddiscussions, we explore what’s working, what could be better, and what actions will make the biggestdifference, shaping a workplace that truly works for all our colleagues and our service users.

What happens with your feedback?

When you share your feedback through the NHS Staff Survey, People Pulse or Your Voice Your Change , it genuinely matters. Your views help us understand what it’s really like to work at Mersey Care and guide where we focus our improvement efforts.

How we use your feedback?

All feedback is brought together and carefully reviewed to identify common themes, strengths and areas where we can do better.

This includes feedback about:

  • Your day‑to‑day experience of working at Mersey Care

  • What makes work feel easier, more supportive and more comfortable for colleagues

  • The services we provide to patients and service users

We don’t look at individual responses. Instead, we focus on aggregated feedback to understand what matters most to our workforce as a whole and within specific services or staff groups.

Turning feedback into action

Your feedback doesn’t stop at being reviewed. It is used to develop clear and meaningful actions aimed at making a positive difference. These actions might focus on improving ways of working, strengthening team support, addressing workplace challenges, or enhancing how services are delivered.

Each set of actions is owned and progressed by our service leads who are responsible for turning feedback into practical changes at a local level. This helps ensure actions are relevant, achievable and reflect the real experiences of staff working within those areas.

Your voice creates change

By taking part, you help us build a workplace where feedback leads to action, and where colleagues feel heard, valued and supported. Every response helps us improve both the services we provide and the experience of working at Mersey Care.
