Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Your Voice Your Change (YVYC) conversations. Between June and July 2025, we’ve seen great engagement across the organisation, and here is what’s happened so far.

Key Highlights:

  • 16 YVYC conversations were held across the Trust. (Divisional + Focus Groups)
  • Over 400 colleagues actively participated in these sessions.
  • The structure of the sessions was simple and effective: each group was asked three key questions, sparking open discussion and reflection. Participants then shared back the most significant themes and insights from their conversations.
  • An online feedback form was used to collect feedback on those three key questions from all colleagues who attended the YVYC conversations, as well as to allow those who couldn’t attend to share their thoughts.
  • The NHS People Pulse survey received 1,581 responses which included the 3 YVYC-specific questions.
  • Focus groups were formed using triangulated workforce data, targeting areas with lower reported staff experience.
  • To ensure inclusivity, paper feedback forms were provided to colleagues in roles less likely to use computers regularly, particularly health care assistants, estates and facilities staff, and Bands 2–4 colleagues.

These conversations are a vital part of shaping how we work together and improve experiences across Mersey Care. Your feedback is helping us identify what matters most and where we can make meaningful change.

Stay tuned for more updates and outcomes from the YVYC 2025 conversations as we continue to listen, learn, and act.
