WELL Runcorn Hub
Developed through the Runcorn Towns Fund programme, the hub brings together partners from the NHS, local authority, education and voluntary sector to provide joined-up support in one accessible town centre location. The hub will offer advice, information and support, including health checks, mental health support, family and children’s services, prevention-focused activity, and opportunities for education, training and skills development.
Its 'one-stop' approach is designed to make it easier for local people to access the right support at the right time, while helping services work more closely together to improve experience, support earlier intervention and tackle health inequalities.
Located in the former Runcorn Library, WELL Runcorn Hub stands for Wellbeing, Education and Lifelong Learning and is also designed as a welcoming community space where residents can connect with others and build confidence in managing their health and wellbeing.
An official launch is planned for early September, with additional services, including those requiring formal CQC registration, introduced over the coming months.
