Ward Guardian supports managers in effective use of our health rosters. The tool brings together relevant information regarding planned rosters, which rostering mangers can use to make amendments to their roster before it goes live.

Training on Ward Guardian will be provided and is for rostering mangers and deputies, with one session to brief clinical service managers - dates are listed below.

We need rostering mangers to adhere to five parameters. Ward Guardian monitors adherence to each principle and provides reports to rostering managers as to how well they’re adhering to these principles. The principle, target which will be used to measure if adherence has been achieved, and the rationale/benefits for the Trust if rosters comply with the principle/target, are listed in the table.
