Next Tuesday (17 May) is World Neurofibromatosis Day, which aims to raise awareness of a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow along nerves. To mark the occasion the World Museum, the University of Liverpool School of Engineering and the Liverpool Convention Centre will all be lit up in blue as part of a national campaign.

Mersey Care are also getting involved with one of the Trust’s dietitians, Allan Thomson, running in the Edinburgh marathon on 29 May and in the London marathon later in the year to raise funds for Never Tumours, a charity that supports people and families living with Neurofibromatosis. You can sponsor Allan via his Just Giving page.
