There are a few events happening in Liverpool City Centre this weekend, including Liverpool Pride and Liverpool International Music Festival, which may cause travel disruption.
Liverpool PRIDE (30 July)
On 30 July, Liverpool PRIDE have confirmed their intended march as “Plan A”. The march will start at St Georges Plateau at 12pm but people have been advised to arrive from 10.30am. The march is estimated to clear by 2.30pm. Police and North West Ambulance Service will be in Silver Command 10am to 10pm.
Plan A route (possible delays may occur on these roads as the march passes):

● Queen Square Bus Station (Hood St)
● Whitechapel
● Lord Street
*March is held at Lord Street by Barclays to allow groups to gather back up before proceeding.

Liverpool International Music Festival (Fri 29 – Sun 31 July)
On 29 July to 31 July, Livepool International Music Festival are hosting multiple indoor venues including ACC Arena and Liverpool Philharmonic. Change to the headline act – Boney M are now booked.
There are no issues expected other than the heavier than normal footfall expected into Liverpool City Centre and local bars.
