Stagecoach Strike Action: 13 to 17 June
Following the recent announcement of proposed Stagecoach Industrial Action at Gillmoss depot by drivers, engineers and cleaners, some bus services in Liverpool will not operate on the dates listed below:
- Thursday, 13 June
- Friday, 14 June
- Saturday, 15 June
- Sunday, 16 June
- Monday, 17 June
The following Stagecoach services will not operate: 10A, 14, 53, 82, 86 (Arriva services will be operating on these routes).
Services 17, 19, 20/21 will operate to a reduced frequency between 6.30am to 7.30pm 19 on the proposed industrial action dates (please check Stagecoach website for updated timetables).
Taylor Swift Concert (13, 14 and 15 June) – Following recent discussions between Stagecoach, Liverpool City Region and Merseyside Police, it has been agreed that due to safety and security concerns the service 917 Shuttle bus service will operate for this event.
Stagecoach services 1/X1, X2 and 471/472 operating from other depots into Liverpool will operate as normal as other Stagecoach depots are not involved in the industrial action.
Services are expected to return to normal on Tuesday, 18 June, however, there maybe some minor disruption for a short period due to a backlog of vehicle engineering maintenance.
