Essential IT maintenance has been scheduled which will affect remote workers who are using Always on VPN on their laptop to connect to Trust IT systems and services.
To help minimise disruption, this important maintenance will take place out of core hours as outlined below.
- Wednesday 5 October 2022 between 9.30pm and 10.30pm
- Thursday 6 October 2022 between 9.30pm and 10.30pm
Please note that during these periods, colleagues working from home or away from a Trust location will be unable to access file stores, clinical and NHS Smarcard-enabled systems. Access to these services from a Trust location will not be affected.
Important please note:
Colleagues working off-site are advised to avoid using the IT services noted above during the period of planned maintenance to prevent any disruption to access or unsaved work. Where possible, please shut down your laptop prior to this change to ensure a clean disconnection and to avoid any issues when reconnecting.
