A beloved member of the Kirkby UTC team, Joyce Collier, has sadly passed away.
Joyce began her nursing career at Aintree Hospital before transitioning into the community to work within the Liverpool treatment room service. Over the years, she contributed greatly across a number of services, including Longmoor House, Urgent Treatment Centres, Walk-in Centres, and most recently, Kirkby UTC.
Her team wrote, "Joyce was truly one of a kind. Once you met Joyce, you would never forget her! She had a wicked sense of humour and an infectious laugh that always brought a smile to everyone on a shift. Her generosity and thoughtfulness were unmatched – there were always goodies at the nurse station, and she frequently brought in gifts for her colleagues. Joyce was a beloved member of Kirkby UTC and will be dearly missed by them and all her former colleagues and friends."
Joyce's funeral will be held on Friday, 29 August at 2pm at Anfield Crematorium.
