We’re delighted to announce that Rydal Ward has been recognised for outstanding performance during our ongoing flu campaign.
As a token of appreciation, the team received a special tea, coffee, and biscuit hamper, celebrating their commitment to best practice and patient care.
What set Rydal Ward apart was the glowing feedback from vaccinators, who described their clinic as “textbook” in its organisation and execution. Key highlights included:
- Staff were fully prepared and expecting the vaccination team
- The clinic room was ready and available
- A dedicated care support staff member was assigned to assist throughout, ensuring patients were brought to the clinic and properly identified
- Prescriptions were prepared and accurate
- Pre-assessment forms were completed in advance, either through patient consent or best interests
- For ongoing cases, pre-assessment forms were securely stored and readily available for follow-up visits.
These seemingly simple steps made the clinic visit smooth, efficient, and a model of best practice, saving valuable time for both staff and patients.
