Rosie Cooper, Chair of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, recently visited the Trust’s Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service (OHWB) to learn more about the vital work being done to support colleagues and helping our people stay well in work to support our communities
During her visit, Rosie met with staff from the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service teams to hear first-hand about the range of services available to support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. From Rapid Access Physiotherapy and Psychological support to preventive support via the Wellbeing Offer
Speaking after the visit, Rosie said:
"As people are our greatest asset here at Mersey Care, it’s inspiring to see the dedication and scale of support available within our Occupational Health and Wellbeing teams. Their work helps individuals stay well and strengthens the Trust as a whole, benefitting them and our patients."
The visit highlighted the Trust’s ongoing commitment to creating a culture where wellbeing is embedded in everyday practice. Staff shared examples of how the OHWB service support the Trust, managers and teams to help our diverse workforce stay well to meet the complex needs of our communities.
