The Government recently announced a 5.5% consolidated pay increase for all staff on Agenda for Change bandings and yesterday announced the inclusion of the addition of intermediate pay points for band 8a and above. This award will be backdated to 1 April 2024.

The changes necessary to ESR will be made nationally and the pay award will be processed and paid in October 2024 and the intermediate pay point changes will be paid in November 2024 subject to ESR development and testing.
