NHS England have recently established a Community of Practice (CoP) for anyone with an interest in outcome measurement in mental health. They are hosting the second meeting on Monday, 27 April between 1pm and 2.30pm where they will welcome Dr Howard Ryland, Specialist Advisor on outcome measures in mental health at the Royal College of Psychiatrists who will share insights from the College’s outcomes survey.

The community is open to all colleagues with an interest in outcome measurement in mental health. This may include regional colleagues, commissioners, managers, and practitioners working in mental health services, as well as analysts involved in reporting outcome data.
The CoP aims to support services to:
- Connect and collaborate
- Work together to improve the collection, reporting, and meaningful use of outcome data
It provides a space to:
- Share best practice
- Highlight developments, improvement projects, and innovation
- Exchange knowledge and learning
- Work collectively to address challenges
