A new name, chosen by our members
To create a more welcoming and representative space, the Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Staff Network is now called the Neurodivergent Colleagues Network. This change better reflects the diversity of our membership, as we want to encourage new colleagues to join and feel supported.
Members of the Dyslexia and Dyspraxia Staff Network agreed that while the name has served us well, it no longer reflects the full breadth of neurodivergence within Mersey Care. Neurodiversity includes a wide range of conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition, Tourette’s Syndrome, and more.
To reflect the new name, the network has a new contact email address: NDCN
There are also other supportive staff networks available across Mersey Care, so everyone can find a space that feels right for them.
