Dear Colleagues

Rosie and I wanted to thank everyone for their unwavering dedication and hard work during this particularly challenging period. The winter season invariably brings a significant increase in demand for NHS services which is compounded by the awful adverse weather conditions. Together with the heightened local system pressures, this period has indeed been particularly challenging.

Despite battling the snow, freezing temperatures, icy roads, and an increased demand for services, you have worked so hard and demonstrated your compassion, resilience, and dedication to high quality care for the people we serve, which is awe inspiring.

We are proud of you all and grateful for your collective efforts, supporting our patients, service users, carers and families to get the help and care they need when they need it most.

We anticipate our health and care system to remain challenged for the next few weeks and we will continue to provide support in any way we can.

Your health and wellbeing is also a priority, so please look after yourself and your colleagues and take some time to rest and remember that we have an excellent wellbeing offer to support you if necessary.

Thank you once again.
