To support the recent release of YourInsights, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Mersey Care Data Academy. This training course is open to all staff and is fully funded via the apprenticeship levy (worth up to £18,000 per learner).
This 13 month programme will empower you with the skills to:
- Make better data driven decisions
- Improve efficiency by reducing manual data preparation processes
- Future proof your skills.
The course has no exams, and only three hours per month of scheduled learning, with an emphasis on putting new skills into practice within existing day to day roles. A more advanced course is also available for those in more data intensive roles.
Information sessions throughout February are open to both learners and managers. These sessions will provide details on the programme content and delivery style, as well as case studies from other NHS learners.

Applications are currently open for an April 2025 start. Future cohorts will follow in September, with application dates to be confirmed.
