Over the Bank Holiday weekend, the Medicines Management Department at Maghull Health Park will run at reduced hours.
Please send any prescriptions and stock requests before 12pm on Thursday 25 August to guarantee delivery before the Bank Holiday weekend.
- On Saturday 27 August to Sunday 28 August the department will be open 10am to 2pm for urgent items only, the cut off time is 12pm.
- On Monday 29 August the department is closed.
- Normal service resumes Tuesday 20 August.
Emergency medication can be obtained by contacting the emergency duty pharmacist via switchboard.
- It is the responsibility of ward clinical staff to ensure there are sufficient stock items to last over the Bank Holiday period. This includes controlled and recorded drugs.
- Emergency cupboards are located on the main hospital sites to compliment the emergency duty pharmacist – please check prior to contacting the emergency duty pharmacist.
