MaST Inpatient Workshop 18th June 2025

Adam Drage, Associate Director of Innovation, and Anika Neill, Business Change Manager, from the Mental Health Incubator Team, in conjunction with developers Holmusk, hosted a successful workshop for Mersey Care and Cheshire & Wirral Partnership (CWP) staff members, ICB representatives, service users and third party providers.

The workshop was a great opportunity to demonstrate the development of MaST Inpatient in Mersey Care and share the development of use cases and potential benefits and opportunities with CWP, develop new features and data feeds around users’ needs, and identify and engage with new users.

A range of Mersey Care divisions were represented including MH Care Division, OE, QRV team, BI and strategic partnerships to help shape thinking around the tool and support its implementation.

Key learnings included an understanding that MaST Inpatient has potential to have a strong quality oversight focus, and that in the current development phase users have some flexibility to shape data points to their requirements.

Holmusk will continue to work with both Trusts to develop MaST Inpatient solution further and focus on benefits realisation.
