Mersey Care has pledged its support for This is Liverpool, a city-wide campaign launched by Liverpool City Council to celebrate the city’s diversity, promote inclusion, and encourage people across Liverpool to stand together against racism.
The campaign coincides with the launch of Liverpool’s anti-racism strategy, led by the Liverpool Strategic Partnership, and supports our commitments. This sets out a clear framework for action, accountability, and long-term change. Shaped by extensive engagement with residents, community groups, and staff, the strategy reflects a shared determination to tackle racism and build a city where everyone feels safe, valued, and respected.
We are proud to be part of this collective effort, joining other organisations across the city to stand against racism, share our stories and highlight the values that make Liverpool a place of solidarity, fairness, and community, reflecting our ongoing commitment to inclusion and equality.
