Irish heritage is strong in Liverpool, Merseyside and many North West regions. In Liverpool in the ONS 2021 census, 31% of those aged over 65 identified as White Irish. On the run up to St Patrick’s Day on 17 March, we are holding a webinar on awareness raising around the Irish Traveller communities and the work undertaken by our webinar facilitators, Irish Community Care (ICC). This will be a rare opportunity to learn about a community that faces many inequalities and how we can try to understand their needs.
The webinar is on Thursday, 13 March from 10am to 1pm, via MS Teams. There is no need to book, simply log in via this link - Join the meeting now.
