The Infection Prevention and Control team were pleased to welcome Liverpool City Council Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Culture Harry Doyle and Dr Emer Coffey, Consultant in Public Health Medicine, Liverpool City Council.
Cllr Doyle and Dr Coffey were keen to visit the Infection Prevention and Control team at their base in Huyton, where they learned about the varied and extensive work the team undertake for the Trust as well as Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley’s local authorities.
Following the visit Cllr Doyle and Dr Coffey accompanied IPC Nurse, Tinashe Bako on a visit to a Liverpool care home.
