The Health Services Safety Investigations Body has been working in mental health services across England and have been visiting various sites, including Mersey Care.
Last week they published a report that considers workforce and working conditions across mental health inpatient services; this includes a small part around high secure services and our team at Ashworth High Secure Hospital supported this work.
It is expected that the findings of this report will contribute to the government's long-term plans in relation to mental health inpatient settings. Read the report in full here
