October is Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU) month – a time to raise awareness of Freedom to Speak Up and make speaking up business as usual for everyone.

This year's theme is Follow up in action: when we follow up with action, we prove that speaking up leads to real improvements without fear that concerns will be ignored.

We are shining a light on our FTSU guardians to celebrate and highlight the importance of feeling confident to speak up. You can read all about FTSU and your guardians via the button below:

We want everyone at Mersey Care to feel confident to speak up. Confidence to speak up comes from knowing that if you speak up, you will be listened to and that appropriate action will be taken. We all have a part to play in listening to one another with respect and compassion.

The Freedom to Speak Up Guardians are keen to engage with teams, if you'd like to invite them to your team meeting, contact the team:  Freedomtospeak.Guardian@merseycare.nhs.uk
