At the end of April 2023, Neil Smith, our former Financial Director and Deputy CEO will retire from the Trust after almost 40 years’ service to the NHS.
Trish Bennett will continue as our Executive Director of Nursing and Deputy CEO for Clinical Services and Amanda Oates, Executive Director of Workforce will take on the additional responsibility as the Deputy CEO for Non Clinical Services from Neil from 1 April.
Amanda is extremely enthusiastic and motivated about this role and has enrolled on the Aspiring CEO programme. Over the last year, Amanda has supported the strategic transformation of our organisational design, in an innovative and creative way. She has the skills to support the planning and transformational steps needed and particularly the interpersonal skills to make this happen and is seen as a collaborative and supportive leader.
