To ensure we are able to maintain all of our services during a period of significant staffing pressures it has been agreed with Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group that the City Walk in Centre (The Beat) which was scheduled to be closed on Christmas Day, will now be closed on Boxing Day also. This decision has been taken, based on the option that has the least negative impact on system capacity and flow. Services are planned to be fully operational on our other sites and appropriate redirection will be in place. The service will resume at 8am on Monday 27 December 2021.
Please can you to check any scheduled social media posts and website content for the walk in centre opening times over the festive period to reflect this change.
Signage has been displayed in the large windows of the City Walk in to raise awareness and social media will be used to redirect people accordingly to alternative walk in centres and NHS111.
