Last week, the spotlight was firmly on flu prevention, with Mersey Care’s senior leaders setting the tone by rolling up their sleeves and getting vaccinated.

The Trust’s flu vaccination campaign launched on the 1 October, and Board members were keen to take advantage of our free vaccination offer, reflecting a shared commitment to protecting staff, patients, and the wider community as winter approaches.

Sean Leahy, Interim People and Culture Officer, said - “As leaders we set the tone – I’m proud to do my bit and encourage everyone who can to get their flu vaccination. It only takes a minute, but the protection lasts all winter. I’ve had mine, have you had yours yet?”

Book your vaccine on YourSpace, a round up of next week’s clinics can also be viewed here.
