Bank shift communication moving to LOOP from 1 April

From 1 April, Mersey Care will transition bank shift communications from SMS text messages to LOOP in‑app notifications. LOOP has been used across the Trust since 2025 and is now established as the primary communication and workforce engagement platform.

What this means:

• Shift messages will no longer be sent via SMS.
• All updates will appear as push notifications in LOOP.

What staff need to do now:

1. Ensure the LOOP app is installed. You can download from your smartphone device
2. Log in using your work email.
3. Enable push notifications on your device to receive updates from Temporary Staffing Office.

This update strengthens how we use LOOP, as it supports new features such as in-App notification, modernises our communication with you, helps reduces costs, and keeps all messages secure and accessible in one place.
