Sylvia McKenzie has worked for Knowsley Community Clinics for approximately 37 years.
Sylvia started her working life as a Clerical Officer in the old Lathom Road Community Clinic in 1985. From there, Sylvia moved to Prescot as Higher Clerical Officer, where she spent the next 10 years, until she relocated again to the new Prescot Community clinic in Sewell Street still in her role as Higher Clerical Officer.
Sylvia officially retired in 2008 but then joined the bank to ‘help out’ in various community clinics as and when they needed her support.
Sylvia re-joined us in 2015 as a receptionist at the Bluebell Centre, meeting and greeting staff, services users, and generally supporting everyone around her. Sylvia has now decided the time is right for her to now officially leave the Trust after dedicating her support to the service for all these years and have a well-earned rest!
We will all miss Sylvia very much and would like to thank her for her amazing dedication, support and long service to the NHS and her colleagues and wish her a long healthy and happy retirement.
