The main Chinese New Year celebration day is on Sunday 6 February 2022, however, there are road closures on 4 and 5 February.
There will be no projections shows to accompany the Celebrations this year and all celebrations will take place on Sunday 6 February 2022.
The road closures for the main celebrations on the Sunday will remain the same as in previous years as:
- Seel Street from Berry Street,
- Nelson Street
- Gt. George Street
- Berry Street
- Upper Duke Street
- Duke Street to Slater Street (am)
- Duke Street to Hanover Street (pm)
- Bold Street.
Additional roads inside of these roads will be closed in order to facilitate the event activities.
