A group of learners and staff from Walton Lea Partnership visited Hollins Park Hospital in recognition of International Nurses' Day.
They wanted to thank our nurses for the care that’s been provided for them and their support that has spanned many years.
The learners, brimming with appreciation gave each nurse they saw a bunch of flowers and a handwritten thank you message.
Emily, one of the nurses who had received flowers said, “I’ve been a qualified mental health nurse for 10 years and this was one of the nicest work related experiences I have ever had” and other nurses said they had “happy tears” in their eyes.
