1 April 2023 saw the launch of St Helens Advocacy Hub operated by Advocacy Focus which will complement their children’s rights, advocacy and independent visitors' services. The ‘all age advocacy hub’ is a free, independent, and confidential single point of contact for children, young people, and adults providing a seamless transition and offer of support for individuals across the borough. The Hub supports residents of St Helens with:
- Care Act Advocacy
- Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA)
- Paid RPR and DoLS
- Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)
- Non-statutory/Community Advocacy
Referral forms are available on their website and completed forms should be sent to admin
The Hub number is 0300 323 0965 and advocacy coordinators are available between 8.30am to 5pm (4.30pm on Friday) to discuss potential referrals and any queries.
