Led by Dr Aisha Mirza, Senior Clinical Psychologist and the MECN, the event looked at South Asia’s colonial history. Our internationally trained practitioners shared their experiences of moving to the UK and gave an insight into the subcontinent’s rich and vibrant music, food and cultural history. There was a particular focus on South Asian mental health and barriers to accessing services and ways for practitioners to adapt ways of working.
