HMRC rules state that the tax payable on the Benefit in Kind (BIK) for Home and Electronic schemes must be paid in the tax year when the salary sacrifice commences. To minimise the impact of this on staff, the Home and Electronics scheme will close on 31 December 2023 and reopen on 6 April 2024.
