Many of our teams are raising awareness of dementia for Dementia Action Week (15 to 21 May).
Liverpool
Leigh Moss Older People’s CMHT will have a stand to provide support and signposting on memory changes and dementia at:
- Morrisons Belle Vale on 15 May 2023, 11am till 2pm
- Dobbies, Speke on 16 May 2023, 11am till 2pm and 19 May 2023, 11am till 2pm
- The Life Rooms Walton on 18 May 2023, 11am till 2pm.
Southport
Our North Sefton Older Adults Community Hub will be at The Atkinson, Lord Street, Southport on Monday, 15 May from 10.30am until 4pm with the Alzheimer’s Society and other voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations. They will also have a stand in Hartley Hospital next week. Contact Kerry
Knowsley
They will also be at Whiston Hospital on 16 May from 11am till 3pm, they will also have an information stand at Tesco Prescot on 17 May from 10.30am till 3pm. On 19 May from 1pm till 3pm they are holding a tea and cake afternoon at Willis House. Anyone living with dementia and/or their carers are welcome to attend.
St Helens
Later Life and Memory Services will attend Dementia Day on 18 May 2023, 11am till 3pm at Ormskirk Street United Reformed Church, Ormskirk Street, St Helens, WA10 2JZ.
