Thinking of doing some fundraising this 2025? We’d love for you to support our dedicated Mersey Care charity, Mersey Cares so we can do some amazing things to support services across the Trust. The charity has launched its New Year #MakeItMerseyCares campaign for 2025 with a new and exciting portfolio of challenge events for staff to sign up to!
Our fundraising challenges offer something for everyone and are great for team participation, whether it's running or walking events or bucket list items like skydives and abseils – which when done for are a charity offer considerable value. This year, the charity has some exciting new challenges, perfect for getting your teams involved with such as Snowdon at Night and Run Alton Towers at the famous theme park, which also includes the chance to check out the rides when the park is closed to the public!
Why fundraise for Mersey Cares?
Fundraising for Mersey Cares enables the charity to support projects and services across the Trust in ways that are usually beyond the scope of the NHS. Some of our latest projects include funding suicide prevention tools, equipment for sensory rooms, and gifting hundreds of Christmas gifts to children and young people accessing our services. We’re also in the process of funding a memorial garden, equipment for walking groups, and dementia dolls and memory stimulating tools for later life and memory services.
