The Manchester Royal Infirmary EmbRACE team are a group of frontline clinicians and non-clinicians who are actively working on being anti-racist in everyday practice within the Emergency Services and wider. Please see attached their Newsletter for further details about what they do.

The team will be joining us at our next Leadership Forum on 27 September 2022 to share some of the great work they have been doing with us.

If you are interested in learning more about the work EmbRACE do, please see an article they have written for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (RCEM) about starting their journey as well as a presentation they delivered at the RCEM conference.

Please see attached the article written for the Oxford Medical Alumni Magazine by Dr Tom Bannister; a member of the EmbRACE Team and a A&E Medical Practitioner, talking about his experience of being an active anti-racist on page 22. Tom will be sharing more about his learning at the next Clinical Senate on 20 September.
