6 ways you can get involved with Mersey Cares this World Mental Health Day
Mersey Cares is proud to be one of over 230 local and specialist NHS charities across the UK. We exist to make a real difference across Mersey Care’s mental health and community services, bringing to life projects that go beyond the scope of NHS funding — from wellbeing initiatives to essential support for service users and staff.
This World Mental Health Day, we’re inviting you to be part of our journey.
There are so many meaningful ways to get involved — whether giving your time, your voice, or a small donation. Together, we can create lasting change for patients, service users, carers, volunteers and colleagues across Cheshire and Merseyside.
1. Sign up to a Mersey Cares fundraiser
Get active for a great cause! Upcoming events include:
- Run Alton Towers (adult and Kids event – with ride access!) November 15
- Liverpool Santa Dash (join thousands of Santas for a festive 5k) December 7
- Run Aintree (a 5k, 10k or Half Marathon around the famous racecourse) December 14
Whether you're a runner or just looking for a fun way to get involved, there's something for everyone. Full events programme: https://www.merseycares.org/support-us/fundraise/register-fundraising-event
