As a result, we kindly ask all GPs and hospital consultants to limit microbiology sample submissions to urgent and clinically critical cases only until further notice.
Routine and non-urgent specimens should be deferred to ensure that essential diagnostic services can be maintained for patients in critical need.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience, and we greatly appreciate your cooperation in helping us manage demand during this time. Your support will help ensure we can continue to deliver safe and effective services to our patients.
