The next round of the Culture of Care Barometer (CCB) survey opens on Monday 9 January. It’s live for three weeks until 27 January.

Please look out for the questionnaire coming via email, text or post from Quality Health. This is a really important way to judge the issues that matter right now and has been structured to be quick and accessible. You can do it in just 5 minutes.

Take the time to fill yours in – now more than ever we need to know. The questionnaire is confidential, and the data cannot not be used to identify any individual. As part of the questionnaire staff are asked to provide information about the team they work in so we can combine the results into a team report. Team data will only be reported where there is a minimum of seven respondents. 

The results aim to stimulate conversations about the culture in teams and assist teams to monitor progress. There is a resource pack available on the Staff Hub to support team leaders with this.

The results will start to come in during February and we’ll feed back to you as well as taking on board any actions and issues that emerge.

The CCB is an evidenced based tool designed by the Kings Fund to help gauge the culture within a team. In line with our value of continuous improvement, you can use it to stimulate reflection and gain understanding of how staff are feeling at work and then work together to seek to find ways to improve staff experiences of working in your team.

It is run 3 times a year and is designed to give regular and consistent about peoples’ experience at work so we can celebrate positives and identify things that be done together to improve. CCB is confidential and managed independently. Team data for teams of 7 or more people are made available, providing managers and leaders with a safe way to check-in with their teams and have a conversation about the team’s effectiveness to improve how we work together.
