The Liverpool City Region COP26 Coalition has organised a march and demonstration against the government environmental policy. Demonstrators will congregate at 12pm in Sefton Park and will follow the route below to Derby Square at around 2pm. Following this there will be rally, with the demonstrators dispersing at 3pm.

- 12pm – meet in Sefton Park
- 12.30pm – march moves off:
- Sefton Park
- Sefton Park Road
- Croxteth Road
- Princes Gate roundabout
- Princes Road
- Upper Parliament Street
- Hope Street
- Upper Duke Street
- Berry Street
- Bold Street
- Church Street
- Lord Street
- Derby Square
- 2pm - arrive at Derby Square where a rally will be held
- 3pm – finish and disperse.
Approximately 5,000 people are expected to take part. The march is expected to be peaceful and good natured. There is no intention to cause unnecessary disruption to traffic or to businesses in the area. Please note there are no road closures in place but traffic congestion can be expected at junctions that cross the route.
